At first I did not want to buy the sound card, because so few people have reported significant driver problems. I bought them anyway and did not regret a second!
The sound card I had been in use with a netbook and a notebook, each with Windows XP 32bit, Windows 7 64bit, Windows 8 Developer Preview 64bit and 64bit Ubuntu 32. Under any of the systems I had problems - sound even went under every system "out of the box" (even under Ubuntu)!

The sound quality is also great! Of course, it is by far better than my internal, not to be mentioned notebook "sound card". You can, however, also loose touch with my old Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS.

She was previously attached to my standard home stereo system with NAD amplifier, which delivers 1A material for further processing.
She was also connected for a bigger celebration with a PA set with 600W subwoofer and two 150W RMS Toplautsprechern. Again, it has made a consistently good figure and did not even geschwächelt.

Therefore, I can wholeheartedly recommend - a great sound card !!
