! Vulnerability brake!

The workmanship and quality is good in spite of Chinese manufacturing. The Buddy is very good on the road and rolls very smoothly and quietly. The steering is precise and free of play. Against the backdrop of a great, safe vehicle.
The steering wheel can be infinitely (similar bikes) in height (more precisely in length) adjusted.
The seat, however, unfortunately only in 3 positions. Here would be 4 or 5 positions significantly better.

BUT (and this is a very big BUT):
The sought-after as so innovative coaster brake only affects the rear left wheel and then only when driving forward !!!

And that with 18kg weight. Adding to the Junior to have to be far delayed over 30kg.

Rolls of Buddy (eg on a slope) backwards, he can no longer brake! This circumstance can (uncontrolled rolling backwards out of the driveway, for example) are extremely dangerous in certain situations!

We would buy this vehicle not again.

My request to Bergtoys regarding a retrofit option for better brake fell unfortunately Ernüternd. There is obviously no way to retrofit the mountain Buddy with a clever brake (see below).
