Canon EOS 70D SLR Digital Camera (20 Megapixel APS-C CMOS sensor, 7.6 cm (3 inch) display, Full HD, WiFi, DIGIC 5+ processor) body only (Electronics) 5
I have long wrestled with me until I bought this camera, since one hears in many forums and even here on Amazon often of the autofocus problem of the 70D ... For me, a used 5D Mark2 and 6D were for further selection. I have often photographed with the 5D Mark2 an acquaintance, of course, is a great camera, but again still very expensive and if I already spend so much money then I want something firsthand! shortlisted so were the 6D for scarce 1,5 thousand and the 70D for ca.1tausend. So went to research and compare the lot. Clear a full frame sensor is of course something nice, but whom the crop factor does not matter so much and who does not have the iso hochschrauben to the endless is clearly well served with the 70D! I can do both get over quite well and therefore made a further investment of more than 500 is not much sense to me! and I have no regrets !! The picture quality is really awesome the pictures with the 85mm at f 1.8 (fast lenses are supposed to because of "AF problems" not exactly the best friend of his 70d) rattenscharf and super detailed, the folding screen with touch is super cool! it's like as if you swiped on his smartphone through the gallery, and there is also helpful when photographing in unusual positions, close to the ground, etc. What is absolutely amazing, are the videos that you can do with the 70D, HOLLYWOOD Greetings .. amazing! When I compare the focus on videos with the terrible for me the 7D then that's absolutely no comparison ... moving objects can be focused by touch and the focus following this then ... If you're running with the flycam someone behind her or times quickly to someone else is filming from a different distance ... the focus always sits and does everything that has really impressed me.
PS I make my pictures mostly through the viewfinder and the center AF point! I repent that I hesitated and did not buy the camera already! Photographing makes the 70D really fun. In the distant future I will certainly sooner or later times to switch to full-frame, but for now I am satisfied with this wunschlos APS-C BOMB :)
