Good result of Adele's adventures, though hardly exciting ...

I had completed Volume 1 with the eagerness to see how Tardi would negotiate following the fantastico-adventure police Mademoiselle Blanc-Sec. If the result is just as interesting as the first part, the drawing Tardi always restores perfectly the atmosphere of the Paris of the 1910s, it is still a little surprised at the slow progress in the development of the plot.

The twists are effective but sometimes too impromptu still not to do the opposite player. This is very harmful because all the ingredients are there for a perfect comic: drawing (yes, I come back, but I'm definitely a fan!), Characters (all very engaging), history (perfume Masonic conspiracy is a treat) ...

The reader is particularly disappointed that the feeling of missing out on an excellent comic that fails to take off completely. But that does not stop me from kicking me on the Volume 3 ... and probably the following!
