Packaging: too minimalist.
Cost optimization obviously already played a role in the packaging: The fan has to be removed to install the cooling fins, because otherwise you will not get to the screws for base mounting, but so is saving package size. An unnecessary step, which could result in quite untrained damage / scratches the delicate fins. The already auftragenen conductive paste on the base is protected only by the plastic packaging itself, not by a further film or the like. Who sees too late and not perfectly cleaned countertop features that has already dust / crumbs or worse in the conductive paste and thus at the contact point for the CPU. Not nice!
Installation: OK.
If you have found the correct processor and the correct socket size (for correct position of the plastic mounting) the installation within a few minutes is done, when I see it right you can see the postion of the fan on both sides of the heatsink choose (though not "side") ,
And thus directly to the essential disadvantage: The chosen postion of the fan blows this either directly on the graphics card or the power adapter to the Tower floor and thus towards another heat source. Selected rotated by 90 ° position (ie towards front panel of the tower) would have been ideal, such as "be quiet!" Cooler make, but they are typical as almost twice as expensive.
Test:
To prevent heat accumulation risk followed one week test in operation in open housing with measurement via HWiNFO. On average, the results were the standard operation (Office, Internet, e-mail) between 29 ° and 34 ° for the CPU and over the bar for the graphics card, with games at max. 60 ° / 70 °. In standard operation of the volume slightly better compared to the standard fan and Games / higher load considerably better.
As (almost expected) saw it with the housing closed then different: Both fans commute in play mode up slowly, as they now warm air each other to blow up, but the heat can escape bad - peak temperatures of 75 ° / 85 ° were reached after prolonged operation. Who has a corresponding (Gaming) housing with complete ventilation chain (power supply + housing with private fans), is here probably have to make no head.
Conclusion:
Since I only occasionally play is for me (in the price) in total Ok - in standard mode and loads under 1h duration noise is very good / ok, but after a certain time then kanns be loud. Have approximately noiseless PC I have thus achieved for 90% of my Underpinning. The loudest noise is now the rule Calibration of my last remaining (backup) HD disk.
Point deduction there because of the exaggerated economical packaging / installation and gave away potential through the fan position. For the price, but perfectly OK. When buying a new one but I'd probably due to the potential-free fan positioning rather a "be quiet!" Fan for the higher price watch.
