The good thing first times:

+ Brilliant soundscape, Saugeiles Soundtrack
+ Great foresight outdoors
+ Ingeniously simple control concept
+ Good visual concept (color choice, light, blur, etc.)
+ Very good implementation of the spatial proportions (staggering is REALLY staggering)
+ Great game idea / concept
+ Good solution for the cutscenes
+ Very good level design outdoors
+ Good idea with the Ghosts and the Speedrun
+ Unlockable data (I'm a big fan artwork)

So, now the not so good things:

- Although the absolutely harmonious and minimalist graphic design is really well done, so there is a lack but the ultimate conclusion: where is the AA (antialiasing = blur the edges so they do not abgetreppt act) abgeblieben, which is the de facto really only a small brainer as opposed to the entire development of the game looks.

So, long scribbling short:

Mirror'e Edge is a great game.

(Well certainly wonders of one or the other reader, why did I then the less good sides as described in detail above, while the good sides were really only dealt stichpunktartik This has actually 2 reasons.:
1. The good points were indeed now be discussed or reviewed at some length
2. The less good points are always disturbing perceived just in a really good product than a - I'll write freely - crappy product. Especially criticism often requires for a further explanation, because criticism is supposed to be something constructive yes.
Why do I have now described in such detail the negative points, simply has the reason that criticism yes (almost) always something subjective - even if they seem to be objective. So that the criticisms are understandable from my point of view out to the reader of this review, I HAD now times more detail or write about it.)

It has style (which it really), character and a very purist charm. The idea itself is awesome, as is the graphic conversion (up to AA) and the Sound.

Less great is the story and its presentation, which do not really correspond to the actual level of the game. Had the story been presented emotional, then the anyway short season would have it - at least subjectively - benefited. (For this purpose, the half star deduction which it in its entirety unfortunately detracts from the game.)

The controls are very good, but the query sometimes skin with the environment then not quite. Trotzem has been implemented so unique and very atmospheric in the first-person perspective just the experience.

Is fully proceed Freedom unarmed although now given the Level of Difficulty here but but attracts a lot and part is unfair, even in groups.

Conclusion:

Who is demanding - because without weapons playable - like or just want to leave above the rooftops of the city wonderful purist his parkour fantasies, the Mirror's Edge is warmly recommended. Great atmosphere, great graphics idea, great sound and a unique first-person perspective.

Disappointed especially likely to be the ones who like it tactical or "stealthier". Those should borrow the game first and then decide for yourself. Too schematic, the struggles and act later in the game rather disturbing to contributing to the atmosphere.

For replayability I am able to write anything at the moment because I have only played through once. However, it will certainly not be the last time. Next, stand on Speedrun and Time-Trials.
