After I did some competing products tested in this price range, and disappointed sent back, I am stuck with this device. Actually, I like the "Retro" look not so good. However, I've found that it really is a wooden cabinet. This and the sophisticated design to bring really good sound of this unit. It is also worth the analog (= variable) volume control via a rotary knob and the good reception characteristics, both in DAB and FM in. That reminds me a sensible sound is more important than any frills, the then only again drives the price up, I forgive full marks for the unit. Below my pros and cons:
Positives: - Excellent sound through wood cabinet and stereo speakers. - Easy handling - Stable construction
Negatives: - Presets (would have been nice to at least 3 preset buttons) only menu available. - The device can not completely turn off (display always shows the time of day). - No auxiliary input.
