I had so far applied to all my smartphone a protective film. This was always more bad than good. Time one or more grains of dust remained underneath (ok, here is really not the overlay to blame) or air bubbles simply did not go away. However, the film was almost always recognizable. When HTC Magic I had it the FoliX FX-Antireflex screen-protection film. Was very satisfied with this and thought better as it gets. But compared to this of FoliX has a gray haze over the screen placed as thin waxed paper.
The application of the film, after reading the instructions on the product back, even went for me Grobmotoriker surprisingly simple. As well as smooth two dust grains had crept I then could easily be removed with a piece of adhesive tape according to instructions. The result then was great and took less than 2 minutes.
The negative reviews had made me skeptical. But I must say that most of them are, unfortunately, just the result of ignoring the instructions. Too bad.
Only two of the negatives I could understand in part.
First: - "The film shines with black background in rainbow colors."
-> I could actually only by chance see under fluorescent light and the display switched off. While it shines very weak in all colors but can be seen under these particular conditions. Recognizable but only when the display or black screen. So for more than acceptable. If the display is off, I do not care how the display shines to times very, very weak.
Same, even slightly stronger, effect I had with the film of FolieX also. Think it is true in many films.
Second - "the film is totally prone to fingerprints"
-> Na totally vulnerable she is really not. Maybe if you have the finger previously dipped in butter, cream or whatever. ;)
No, that is so bad I do not think it is. Anyway, you can see on the film prints or mess of his fingers slightly stronger than directly on the display.
