The case is manufactured precisely, the Snapscan S1100 fits exactly into it. Thanks to the internal way, even a short USB cable (the original cable of the S1100 can unfortunately only squeeze in) settle, so you have the scanner case with about twice the volume of the S1100 is always ready at hand.
The case is designed very stiff and protects the scanner from dust. That was the real reason why I kept the case depending on the retailer) offered at an exclusive price range of 50-80 euros.
