Fantastic debut!

Customer Review

INTRODUCTION:

I always had my problems with the Killers. The music I liked ansich has always been good, but with Brandon Flowers' voice I never got so far deal really. Now I have but recently the deluxe edition of his debut album and am thrilled. From romantic about weird and wild is represented at FLAMINGO everything I expect from a good pop album. It is unfortunate that the notable exception remains such good music in the charts of today.

FLAMINGO:

"Welcome To Fabulous Las Vegas"
forms a heavenly debut, proving the Flowers, contrary to my earlier opinion, not bad, but a very expressive voice has.

"Only The Young"
is a dreamy piece of sadness and remains sustainable in the ear canals.

"Hard Enough"
follows on seamlessly from the first two songs, in terms of quality and catchy factor.

"Jilted Lovers & Broken Hearts"
is a lively piece with a cheerful mood, all kinds of guitars and fantastic rhythm.

"Playing With Fire"
is sad therefore. The chorus then Angled Guitar and Flowers, with unusually high-pitched voice.

"Was It Something I Said?"
exudes a lot of fun and at the latest here you realize that it 'was a good idea of Flowers to tread solo paths - class!

"Magdalena"
- What can one still write great? I can now only repeat, because here it brings Flowers ready to create a grandiose pop that comes along so refreshing that you can be sure already now that garnicht can more weaken the rest of the album.

"Crossfire"
made me a few months ago on the upcoming album attentive when I saw the wonderful video by Charlize Theron saves the distressed Flowers from all kinds of ninjas. I associate this song with a personal experience and keep getting goosebumps when the first sounds coming from the speakers.

"On The Floor"
stands out well most of the other songs from, since it still like here very dark and melancholic. However, this is not a criticism - quite the contrary. This song is a good example of the variety of disk and impresses with moody chorus in the background and thoughtful text.

"Swallow It"
closes the album in the regular edition and comes as a soft mid-tempo ballad. If only for these ten songs can only salute - Bravo! ! !

(Deluxe edition)

"The Clock What tickin '
the first bonus track is reminiscent of the Wild West, since a pedal steel guitar is used and Flowers inspired by soulful voice.

"Jacksonville"
is Far Eastern tinged and underlaid with fat bassline. A "bubbling" song with an interesting sound.

"I Came Here To Get Over You"
once again varied pop with grandiose ideas.

"Right Behind You"
Too bad - the last (dreamy) Song above average album full of bubbling ideas and captivating singer.

CONCLUSION:

It is incomprehensible to me why the four wonderful tracks of this deluxe edition are not already represented on the normal album because it inferior to other songs in nothing. I can only say that I would miss something if the regular album would be terminated after "Swallow It". It's not every day that my album right away like so much as Flamingo. No failures and moreover a coherent unit of cheerful and rather sad songs. I am looking forward to the next solo work of Brandon Flowers.
