First I bought the Kenwood KDC-BT61U:
+ Super Price, Good sound
- Display reflects unbearable USB integration do not like me, and wanted me to show you a folder name (only Folder 1, fodler 2, ...)
Ok, Kenwood can I just forgot, so must her a Pioneer: Pioneer MHV-8300BT
+ Design nice
- The 7-way stick is tedious and USB integration a disaster (Why ask, it takes 7 clicks through the menu to switch to a folder?), Quite expensive.
Hmm, apparently you can not trust a premium manufacturer. Interestingly, Parrot also builds car radio? Thus, the 3rd unit was the Parrot Asteroid.
+ Design is quite straightforward, processing just fine, the Android-based I find forward-looking, beautiful graphical interface, A2DP works great, super facilities (front SD card slot behind the control panel, 4x USB on the back, GPS, etc.), low
- Bugs, Bugs, Bugs. Partial completely incomprehensible UI, the radio needs good 35-40 seconds to start and does not even notice the last selected source
Well, that was the ordeal before. As a last resort, I saw only the Kenwood KIV-700 (The BT-300 module is still on the way).
+ Display reflects little (and vieel less than the 61U), Graphical user interface has become nice and not too cluttered, sharp sound, USB operation works quite well (still occasionally awkward to some).
- Why does the device taking so long to listen to MP3 files and folders? This is actually the only thing that bothers me a bit currently. No CD drive which can be out expensive with BT module, no SD card slot.
Conclusion: Anyone looking for a good radio and the price should not necessarily shy away slam here! I'm really happy so far!
