Diamond is currently the best toothbrush on the market

Use for many years a noramle electric Oral-B toothbrush and I have now indulged more recently the Philips Sonicare Diamond. For me personally, the best ever toothbrush there in 2014 on the market.

The first use is certainly used to. Clean the feeling while brushing, you can compare the toothbrush with the vibration of a cell phone, only the vibration is many times faster and also resolved a total fine. The toothbrush sounds acoustically like a dentist drill with a "drrrrrr" sound. The first cleaning is the effect also used to, but after the 2-3 times one gets the hang of it and I personally find this toothbrush just great. The vibration is very fine and soft, is a great place from tooth to tooth and slide the cleaning result is a very high level, probably currently the best level in the market. The newer Oral-B toothbrushes certainly inferior to the cleaning result in nothing. But, and this is for me the greatest advantage of the Philips Diamond: With a superb cleaning performance Sonicare Diamond is extremely gum-friendly. Even though I am especially wary of these places, at the Oral-B manual toothbrushes as well as classic but it happens again and again, even if I ever so gently upward glide. The teeth are extremely clean and pleasantly smooth after cleaning, have been properly my joy with the brushing. The cleaning performance earned for me full 5 stars, something better and at the same time gentler there in 2014 probably is not currently in the market.

Criticism I have mainly engaged in the operation of the toothbrush. I miss it totally that there is no manual on / off switch. You can not brush your teeth without timer with the Diamond. By default, pressing the button 1 time and the toothbrush starts the Clean mode, this takes about 2 minutes, every 30 seconds an acoustic signal sounds and you practically per tooth quadrant. If you have practice with the toothbrush first, are the two minutes sufficient. But still I do not filled this stress while brushing your teeth. In my Oral-B super ego was solved, this was 2 minutes and then gave a short signal that two minutes are over now, and you could continue to clean anyway as you wanted. The Diamond turns off automatically after 2 minutes and you have to start the Clean program from the beginning. So if you need more, you press just again on the button and can continue brushing. Then if you're for white after 1 minute finished ranges 1 Renewed clicking on the button and the toothbrush switches off. Normally, hand me the 2 Minunten, if you need more, it's just a bit stupid and awkward resolved, especially since I just this time pressure can suffer under certain conditions.

Otherwise, the toothbrush has 5 different modes, which I am personally of the opinion that in this case more than good marketing lies behind. I've tried all the modes, the White mode several times and still realize at the end no difference in tooth result. Certainly when the White mode activated you noted a difference in the type of vibration, the White mode, the toothbrush switched back and forth all the seconds between normal and vibrate a little more intense vibration, but that's why I feel no teeth whiter than you normal with Clean Mode has anyway. For me, at the end just marketing, so you can sell the toothbrush even better and this just justifies a "value added" in the price.

Even something critical I see the glass, which is indeed quite stylish looks but rather disturbing in practice. Here classic mounts are me just prefer, where the toothbrush has a firm foothold. In the glass, the toothbrush is just there. Although this certainly has a firm grip due to the well at the bottom and so can not easily get out tilt. Disturbing it is if you want to clean the sink and this lifts the glass. Because then you always have to watch out all the not so strong to tilt so that the toothbrush does not tilt, or you can take 2 hands to the toothbrush while carrying the glass to hold. Here, less is sometimes more and yet a completely stupid charger would be better than this gewessen glass. Especially as when loading then has practically 3 parts, the charging unit, the glass that is on the charging cradle and the toothbrush itself. If you have to lift these 3 parts during cleaning, more disturbing. The glass is just one factor that can fall off times with pitch and then you have the salad.
The toothbrush itself I think is very good and firmly in his hand. Although toothpaste runs on the handpiece, it is still firmly in the hands and the plastic also feels very valuable. Underwater allows the brush clean very well, and perhaps even an advantage of the glass-charging station, the toothbrush has no indentation on the bottom, only a slight bulge inwards, but you can easily wipe off with a towel.

At the end zähnt for me especially high and at the same time gentle cleaning and exactly the Diamond is just perfect. And that makes me even more than overlook a glass or a lack of on / off switch when you then smooth perfectly clean teeth about which one would be every day :-)
