But this game, fire publisher THQ, really deserves our attention. Hailed by the press and the players, it is an excellent price / quality ratio.
The story:
One of the four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, War / War, is named in a battle between angels and demons. Wrongly intervened, War is punished by the Council, the guarantor of balance between Heaven, Earth and Hell, and decides to prove his innocence and find out who betrayed him.
Simplistic at first, the story is compelling, and the end is not predictable. Added to this are pretty charismatic characters and various bosses. Three important points in a game.
The game:
The realization is good: good playability, no bug but possible delays if many enemies, quite varied and rather beautiful scenery.
Action oriented platform, the game is at the crossroads of a God Of War for combat, and a Zelda, for quests and dungeons with puzzles that will sometimes think.
War will see its arsenal and its magical powers develop over the game.
Note that Darksiders is fully Frenchified, with quality dubbing.
Another positive point is you can actually finish the game 100% and have the platinum trophy.
In the end it will keep you busy 25 hours (if you leave directly in hard mode) and 50 hours to make it completely around.
The edition:
Unlike Darksiders 2 (whose story is about Death / Death), no additional content (DLC) is output so any other edition with bonus is possible.
The Essential collection adds nothing compared to the original edition (if not the jacket with red edges).
In short, this game was for me a great surprise and deserves its 5 stars.
