The vegetable cutter itself looks like an hourglass, plastic and metal, with two different sizes of cuts according to your desires / needs. In use, it works well, with two carrots in my case, to accompany a raw salmon dish. It works with carrots but also, apparently, with cucumbers, zucchini, turnips, etc. I have tried the carrot anyway.
Once the vegetables planted in the tip of the plastic disc, simply push the vegetable against the metal blades turning and vegetable slices come out alone. Make it directly on the flat to save time. In the end, nice decorations!
Only negative, cleaning, with bits of vegetables difficult to dislodge between the blades. An imponderable unfortunately, but we manage well by rinsing it.
