have a caliper obtained with other ID number. , Probably with a Preisser logo, but without the lettering and Made in Germany imprint.

Packaging can suspect China import, then the price would be far too expensive. At best, contract manufacturing in China, worst-fake.
Accepted my complaint but on a third-party suppliers referenced whose response is pending even after 10 days. If that still enlighten I will write it here.
