Attention Gorillapod is not equal Gorillapod. There are at least 3 different sizes of removable disks. What size is this, unfortunately, is not apparent from the description. The evaluation therefore does not apply to the board itself; which did not fit with me, because it only fits for the Gorillapod probably the smallest (for compact digital cameras) - but for my Gorillapod Hybrid it was too small, probably for the Gorillapod SLR also. The poor rating is for the lack of description which leads to unnecessary bad buys.
