For a one-time use this somewhat thin wooden spatula are perfectly adequate. The use of the 'typical' pan-raclette, not with the original raclette here you need very different (larger) tool. After a round in the dishwasher, they are curled or cracked. Well, I also think that paid off at the latest after two use the INVESTMENT.
