Positive on the Samsung is the good remote control and overall good operability. Excluded is the Smart TV function. The media libraries of ARD and ZDF are accessible via the colored shortcut keys, but rather cumbersome to use. The RTL library for example must be added laboriously through the browser to the bookmark. The RTL library and also playing other streams (eg Sandman on the KiKa page) via the browser works unfortunately very bad, because the video streams often hang; it only helps a close the browser. We use the TV as a PC monitor parallel via the HDMI connector in HD resolution. Here the quality of the picture also cuts off just average. The above mentioned Philips TV offers a special "PC Mode" in the Picture settings and had thus a crisp, sharp image. So a PC mode has not Samsung. Even if the picture is off all the software optimisations at Samsung slightly streaky blurred, or -dreht to the "sharpness" high then it will be pixelated-overridden. Here we have also tried various settings, the optimal Ergebis than just to denote "zufiedenstellend". Compared to a halfway good PC monitor the Samsung cuts visible from bad. . Max Refresh Rate: 60 Hz, HD-resolution.
