The Crew is a truly an amazing racing game, a real masterpiece BUT the car handling can be very frustrating sometimes Which Could in theory ruin your racing experience. More specifically, it is very hard to keep your car under control at higer speeds; the backside of the car starts sliding from left to right and back to left etc .... (= oversteering). It's as if you're driving on ice. I found this to be really annoying (and I am Certainly not The Only One).
HOWEVER, you can avoid this effect (oversteering) and improve handling of the car Dramatically, Especially by setting "STEERING SPEED FACTOR" at maximum.
My settings are:
* All driving help
* Steering Sensitivity (Relatively low, but you might like a bit higher)
* Steering Linearity: MAXIMUM
* Steering SPEEDfactor: MAXIMUM
* Dead zone: minimum
After I adjusted my settings to the settings above, the car handling Improved Dramatically. I Find That all cars are handling very well now.
No icy-effect, no constant oversteering and sliding from left to right and back again.
Yes, I will be posting this message a few times on other fora in order to help the gamers Because this what CLEARLY One of the main problems.
