Having eaten and loved Delirium of the same author, I could not ignore his first novel !! (It was simply impossible;))! Here, in a totally different world of Delirium, not dystopian, she tells us the story of Sam (Samantha) a young high school girl who is confronted with death. Indeed, after an accident which is fatal to him, Sam wakes up in her bed and discovers that she lives and relives the same day (the day of his accident) tirelessly. She will have to understand why, observing his surroundings, noticing his mistakes, and then try to repair them. This novel is beautiful. Upsetting sincerity. It deals with friendship, love, but also error and human cruelty. See you in high school, so with a lot of students "popular", and also the other, the followers, and left behind. Navigating in Sam's head, and then witness his awareness. The words are just, without leaving in great philosophical tirades on life. The subject of death is addressed with sensitivity and with great skill. This is a novel that reads very fast, but that can not be forgotten anytime soon. I recommend it to everyone who likes moving stories, true, and also to those who have loved Delirium since there are of course the key Lauren Oliver.
