I chose this because of the CPU cooler positive reviews, but unfortunately it was not a good decision. I have an Intel i7 4771 CPU with the Asrock Fatal1ty Z97 killer board. The installation was easy despite the gefummels around for little space in the enclosure and the size of the radiator. It's all there what makes for installation on Intel and AMD needs. The part is stable, but that's all. In idle it runs really good 28-30 degrees, but once I start Prime is in 2-3 seconds the temperature to 50 degrees and after a few minutes the temp is 80 Grad.Es the PC has become even a few times off due to overheating .I have now turned off the Turbo mode so I come at least only 70 degrees, which in my opinion is also too much. I even have the thermal grease renewed in the hope that it would bring something, but unfortunately it was not then so.Habe also tried the fan to turn but it was not Either the not suitable for i7 what I do not believe the review that I found here Describes the opposite
Update:
I now give the remaining star to 5 so because it has changed a lot.
I am now have guessed that the integrated GPU, so the integrated graphics unit was to blame, that the CPU was so hot. Ever since I installed a new graphics card (Asus Radeon 280X), the problem with the heat from the CPU by itself has eliminated.
In idle, it remains at 28-30 degrees. Under full load with Prime95, the CPU with these cooler with warmer than 55 degrees and even though I have the Turbo mode turned bis3,9 GHz.
So now the freezer is very good for me, very quiet even though the times faster running almost not hear. Now I can recommend the part!
