For processing:
The part is made entirely of plastic and of course it makes a little rickety impression. But is basically quite stable. The spring mechanism is pretty powerful and lets the claws unfold pinking scissors.
To function:
Is operated the whole thing with 3 button cell batteries included. How long the hold? No Idea. Batteries will stop at some point empty. For the onset of cells you need a small Phillips screwdriver. Simply head extend, rotate a piece, take out, screw, insert, screw, insert head again, ready.
There is a larger thumb button for the extension and including a small one for the effects. Below is a survey on the handle, so that you can find the location of buttons without looking fast. There is also at the bottom of a flap a second button for the effect.
The top button only works when the lift head, the lower in both positions. This sucks a bit. The two actual buttons sit on the inner part where the batteries are in there and the thumb button reaches only one button in the retracted postion. Too bad ...
Each time you press the green light goes on and you will hear the sound effect. Of which there are 2, which always alternate and are reasonably loud. The effect stays on as long as you hold the button pressed. There is a slight delay when switching.
There are the following bug: press button 3 times quickly and then keep produced a different sound. 4x or more press and hold fast: yet another sound. It's the same sound sample, it will be played just kind of slow. In addition, the LED flickers. I do not think that the intention is.
But all in all a fun toy, but not really for children.
