Positives:
+ No glossy surfaces (apart from the surface of the ADF times)
+ Fast
+ No jam, even when wrinkled or accidentally stapled documents
+ Linux or SANE support (for ChromeOS relevant) with permanent manicured drivers. (RPM and DEB formats are manufacturer before)
+ Direct scan to USB stick
Neutral:
+/- The scan quality with gscan2pdf is fine. The resolution is good for automatic adjustment of the sides does not work well. This drops to negative, the scanner, the pages are not just feeding. But could be due to the more moderate Linux software.
Negatives:
- The scanner buttons feel "cheap", since no clear pressure point.
- Gescante on the USB stick documents are automatically treated as duplex scanning. You can not change apparently.
- The device is relatively noisy.
Overall, you can be very satisfied, especially when taking into account the current market price of the device.
