The Dydimos sling is especially for newborns the best wearing style: it is absolutely safe if properly bonding, spread position supports the little legs and guarantees the closeness between mother and child. I was initially very skeptical and uncertain about the binding manner - but with einbisschen exercise the worm is ruckizucki beautifully bound in the stomach and invites to cuddle. I try every day at least once a walk on the day with our mouse in a sling - the other time but I pack it in the stroller as they there continues to sleep even after walking while it is instantly awake after the release of the cloth. Our little girl is now almost 4 months and I am now different binding modes of powerful and thus use the cloth, even in households. Slowly binding but also is annoying, so we will now rely on a proper support (as Manduca). I can only recommend the sling and one should not be "put off" because of the bond, since this is learned really fast and also - due to the Stoffwebung - so light can not go up!
PS - For comment, "the child had fallen out": do not fall out the baby down when the cloth is tied properly because the cloth is crossed under the buttocks of the baby and the legs to the mother's body are clamped! My child is also a small Zappelphillipp, dithering hear but as soon as they spührt my closeness and the strong bond in the back has that gives you security.
