In short, a well-constructed book that does not necessarily heavily loaded with "heroes".
I liked therefore, without however allocating 5 stars because I do not say great, both the writing and the construction agreed. And this is unfortunately often the reproach I make to American literature.
But one does not get bored and just for that it is a success.
