Cool in every way!

After the FW controller my Maxtor One Touch have adjusted plus the service, I needed a new housing. Since the built-in Seagate 1TB drive is quite warm, it should be a case with a fan. The additional noise can be neglected me, since it is used only as an occasional backup.
The article itself: The casing is made of die-cast aluminum with plastic front and rear cap. The assembly is without any problems, you need to a PH1 Phillips screwdriver. The included "sharpened metal pin with Plastikpinöpel" (The name screwdriver earned this concoction not) is too small and only scratched the beautiful black countersunk screws for the back. So off to the ton!
First start: Oha .. a nuclear reactor! You'd think if the fan is "illuminated" by the 4 blue (disconnectable) LEDs, really cool. Cool remains from the plate, the fan draws in the ambient air, leads it around the plate and blows it out of the front side again well resolved.
The fan noise is moderate, for continuous operation on the desk a bit too loud (I am very sensitive), wants to banish the plate under the desk you need a longer USB cable.
Which brings us at the periphery would be:
The USB cable is about 80 cm long, blue (Why was that?) And for the USB3.0 standard quite smooth and high quality. The PSU looks fairly decent, good China-standard flat.
What struck me even more positive: The drive has a power switch.
