Negatives:
1. The SSD was already on the second day is defective (details s. Below).
2. No software included, with which you can transfer the installation of the old hard drive to the SSD. For comparison: for hard drives from Western Digital a free special version of "Acronis True Image" to download.
3. No German instruction.
Neutral:
1. These SSD's in a plastic case. Some people put most emphasis on an aluminum housing.
2. In the "SanDisk Ultra Plus Notebook 128GB (SDSSDHP-128G-G25)" are no cables or installation angle for 3.5 "bays included. The" SanDisk Ultra Plus Desktop (SDSSDHP-128G-G26) " on the other hand included both.
To my review:
An SSD that is broken on the second day, I can not be a single point, for it is useless in my opinion.

Details on my test:
I have the SSD on 12.04.2013 received (not Amazon) and it installed Windows 7. In PC are also among other things a hard drive (Seagate Barracuda 7200.14 2000GB) for the data and a disk caddy (FANTEC MR 35SATA-A).
At first I was very satisfied, especially because my PC was significantly faster. Examples:
1. Duration boot (A switch to the login window): 33 seconds (with HDD 88 seconds)
2. Start GIMP with loading an image (calling "Open with .."): 10 seconds (with HDD 20 seconds)
On the second day I have a SATA hard drive plugged in while the system is in the caddy. Thereupon, the notification was still in the system tray (bottom right) indicating that a new hardware has been detected and a new driver is loaded, but from then on the system to become unresponsive. Keyboard and mouse were dead and even CTRL-ALT-DEL did nothing more. I could therefore only perform a reset.
After that, the SSD was broken:
1. During the boot process, the system could not get even in safe mode.
2. I wanted to perform a system repair using the Windows 7 installation DVD. But even when booting from the DVD, the system froze, while the SSD was connected.
3. After that I removed the SSD from the PC and connected via an external dock on my Windows 7 laptop. However, since it was no longer detected.
It's all just dead.

This early failure is not an isolated case in this series:
Obviously, the error also occurs with other people. Look for example times in the customer recessions to 256GB variant (SDSSDHP-256G-G25):

Outlook:
Perhaps the problem is resolved later through firmware updates, but that does not help me now nothing more, because I already had a lot of wasted work. I thought until recently that SanDisk delivers high quality goods, but will buy until further notice no SanDisk products more. How can its former reputation only sully so? From what I have read in recent days various tests and forums, I would probably prefer to buy a Samsung SSD, because so are the customers seem pretty satisfied. Personally, I'm going to first of all wait another year until I undertake a new attempt with the "Adventure SSD".
