Firstly I advise I watch The documentary series "What Einstein did not know" who is presented by Fuego, Brian Greene in person and contains a very good basis to start this book in the best hospitals. Indeed, through the videos, this will allow you to represent you more easily ideas that sometimes are complex for the uninitiated. When the book, bu t her is to take you much deeper, without even the slightest knowledge of physics. And will let you climb on top of string theory. Certainly the book is a little dated, with the result that some progress may contradict certain facts, or refine. But it allows a very good theoretical understanding of the general idea that physicists want to achieve.
Educational, playful, scientific, objective, rather, it will be an excellent book for those who want to know more about the theory of (super) strings.
(I said that the book contains no equations, and is within the reach of everyone.)
