the Lap Chill Mat is covered with a kind of black neoprene. the support platform (25 cm * 33,6cm) for the computer is made of black hard plastic, not shiny. four rounded rectangular about 2cm * 0.5cm soft gum pieces serve as a bearing surface for the computer. this edition pieces are plugged with rubber stopper into the hole surface and thus changeable. the USB cable is attached at the back and almost 70cm long. the fan intensity is not adjustable. Overall, I am satisfied with the performance, even if it is only 4-5 degrees brings me.
