Finally a COJ

Finally there is a continuation of this ingenious Western shooter series! The first two parts of the series, I loved to play, because I was fascinated by the gripping story and the presentation. The third part of The Cartel "I have not played to the end, because in contrast to its predecessors, the spark is not jumping here.

Again, the new fourth part focuses on the spaghetti Western setup, but there is unfortunately no connection to the previous history. It tells the gripping story of bounty hunter Silas Greaves ". Cutscenes are designed in cartoon style, there is unfortunately no localization. Playful, the game is based heavily on its predecessors, ie wild gunfights and duels.

Sound and setting are absolutely great, the English narrator brings the story over very well. This can no problems with current Top titles like BF3 and Crysis 3 match, or exceeds them. Especially the first part of the series continued with its graphic standards nor that the fourth part can no longer claim to be, the graphics are good, but not groundbreaking.

A multiplayer mode is missing in contrast to its predecessors unfortunately completely, which is a shame because this has made me especially in Bound in Blood "a lot of fun. For this you can have fun in the fourth part with three single-player modes.

You can tell that the new part has been realized with a narrower budget as the first part, but it focuses on the strengths of the series and therefore makes a lot of fun. Because the setup as Western and sophisticated narrative is - and was - the series is a highlight of the shooter genre.

So buying this game, for 15 euros you get a lot on offer, perhaps then the revenues are sufficient for a win awesome fifth part with multiplayer!
