The sound of the MP3 player / radio is very neat. Making calls and sending SMS function properly and, in contrast to at least three times as expensive apple phone I can make calls as I want - no matter how I hold the device. The voice quality is excellent, the touchscreen responds very well and the operation is intuitive and well thought out
Both USB and Bluetooth connection to the computer run smoothly. Surfing funzt both via WLAN and UMTS without problems and with sufficient speed. Speaking of browsing data connections can be personalized with a Touch enable / disable (interesting for people without Datenflat) - an app like APNDroid is therefore not necessary.
The battery lasts me currently just under three days, although actually permanently "playing around" on the phone is. The display is brilliant and after trouble installing various apps from the Market makes the device right mood.
Where there is light, there is also little shade:
The camera could be a little better and the slightly creaking plastic back seems a little to cheap, with the "problem" by a small piece of paper which is clamped between the battery and cover, is easy to fix. Also can be the schedule times that go on beyond midnight appointments, for example, only adjust if you have previously been given as a date two days.
The change of the profiles is cyclical. Ie normal to vibration reaches a touch. Back you need two because intervening even comes complete silence. Perhaps there is even an app that regulates a little clever.
However, everything goes with me already in "whining at a high level". When X8 is an android the lower price range. For the money, I have no other manufacturer found anything like it, and in my opinion makes the Xperia exactly what it is.
Therefore, a full five stars from me.
