The Nikon comes with battery, AC adapter, manual and wrist strap. The manual is German in five languages, including, of course. It is clearly structured and includes all the major issues.
Inserting the battery, plug in charger cable and away you go after a short charging time. The battery life is quite long, so my shop over the photo is more than enough as a hobby photographer.
The camera comes with an internal memory which is enough for 120 photos with the predefined settings. That's quite a bit and a positive aspect since many cameras are manufactured completely without memory.
Small highlight the rotating screen, the photograph is a flexible that stands out immediately makes possible. After a short period an extra that I do not want to miss. As is the ability to store GPS data to images, because sometimes I have struggled me where this or that photographs were taken, that will no longer happen anytime soon now.
The camera is not a light weight and is extremely high quality, no plastic and a lot of metal while still reasonably compact. Despite the relatively large weight, it fits comfortably in your hand and can be used long without any problems. Only the flash, which will be extended if necessary seems to be a little out of place, since it is precisely when the first pictures my finger was on the way, the camera would have ended almost on the floor. In contrast, the input and switch not poking out, but is integrated into the housing. The zoom is operated with a small wheel, which at the top has a small increase, which is simple and very accurate.
Through the wheel from the top can quickly and easily be set the respective menu or directly the automatic recognition. With the button halfway, the focus is then set, which after a short period was as alone out of hand. The quality here is consistently outstanding. Even for images with a lot of movement (football game) the photos were sharp and not blurred. The automatic mode makes photography a breeze, since self-employed the correct settings are made from the camera. Clear is not every picture perfectly, although the failure rate is low. Furthermore, there is the possibility with the second rotary wheel to control the exposure.
The quality is really quite outstanding. For me as a budding amateur photographers it is sufficient. The default setting of the image quality is easy to customize, so just bigger photos have a very good quality. The images lose additionally with large zoom nothing of sharpness.
We then have to add the option immediately after the photo still effects. There are seven types of effect, that is a lot of choice and there should be something for every taste. Many simply a gimmick, however the part somehow involved, and I have to say that it's fun, so to change the images.
The video recordings are for a camera of this type really good, especially the sharpness setting works when zooming in very short time. To me that makes rare video footage that is sufficient.
A very positive aspect is the continuous shooting, the various settings, there's something for everyone. Although I am impressed by the speed of the camera thoroughly.
The possibility of using the free app to transfer the images works without problems, this was tested with an iPhone. Of course, the app has still room for improvement, however, has yet some ways and works well.
In total there are in the camera a lot to discover and I have to say that I am not only convinced the opportunities, but also how easy it is to use.
Conclusion: A great and flexible camera which allows much quickly and easily. I was convinced, even at this price.
