In most missions Bond fights with various handguns and his special equipment the Soviet enemy. Although the opponents are detected automatically by pressing a button, you can also use the so-called "Bond Focus". Here you change quickly in the first-person view (which something is zoomed in to the enemy) and then seeks free. This enables accurate shots eg on the radio, with which the enemy would otherwise have called reinforcement or possibly so that it explodes on the grenade the enemy, directly with him and his companions. Targeted headshots are also possible, but the opponents often wear helmets, so you usually need to shoot several times.
The special units are the perfect complement to the missions. So you can use, among other things remote controlled mini-helicopter, rocket backpacks, sound Cufflinks and poison arrows. A poison dart confused the enemy hit, so he attacks his allies. All weapons and special equipment can be upgraded and improved through research points (found documents).
Throughout the game you drive also the Aston Martin DB5, which is equipped with a machine gun and rockets.
The average difficulty of the game is a little low, but you can decide how hard you want to play it (eg as "Agent 00" fully play without upgraded Q-protection and upgraded without weapons).
Positives:
+ Good action
+ Very good background music (compositions by John Barry)
+ Good German synchronization (very good English dubbing)
+ For automatic target recognition free destinations in ego-Perspekitve (Zoom by "Bond Focus")
+ Cool special equipment (eg, mini-helicopter, rocket backpacks, poison gun)
+ Good graphics for 2005
Negatives:
- Almost all missions where you have to turn off your enemies with handguns
- Something short game (game length slightly under average)
