I have my old Dell Studio 1537 breathed new life with this record. Last week still groaned the hardware still under a trashed, 6 years old Vista system and had suddenly hardly use. A friend of certified hardware (Centrino 2, 4GB RAM) but still quite suitability, and he advised me to SSD. The installation was done quickly with few screws and a little skill. The plate is a distance-piece in which any differences in height (2.5 "inch boards come in 6, 9.5 and 12mm height front) compensates. The Dell recognized the Crucial immediately a fresh Win7 Pro from the bay was extremely fast partly filled and made the computer in half a Sunday evening thanks to the incredible speed plus reading and writing work again. Really striking is the systems and applications launch. And clearly, the system is still fresh, there is certainly something to add exposure to File and Program waste over time, but that's really impressive when compared to previously. As always with hard drives, the time will tell if the thing qualitatively what can, but for now I am very satisfied!
