I use four of these devices in my doctor's office, to the provided player software and a USB foot pedal, which enables control, without interrupting the writing process. Previously I had over twelve years an analog Grundig dictation system with micro cassette player along with the application, which is a Neuanschaffungspreis of more than 1,000 euros. That had certainly served its purpose. The operation with the one-handed slide switch of Grundig equipment is second to none. The often poor sound quality and one or the other band salad with total loss of the recording then has yet persuaded me to switch to a digital system. Very quickly I was able to switch to the Print Key operation. Using Overwrite mode it is possible to speak about receiving parts. The only drawback: The rewind function requires a long press on the rewind seconds and starts only with a certain delay. This is the analogue system but significantly prompter. It works but, enabling a classic dictation process with the result of an error and delay-free dictation. The voice quality is excellent. The transfer to the PC via USB cable works automatically, quickly and easily. The player software enables all the functions of an analog player, including the inclusion of a foot switch. The whole thing has cost all in all 200 euros, a tiny fraction of the existing analogue solution. What more do you want?
