Material:
- Worketh all in all, very robust
- Splash-proof
- Adequate for the price absolutely ok
Menu navigation:
- Quick to learn After reading the manual
- However: In the dark you have to press 2 buttons simultaneously to turn on the lights. While running not that easy. Furthermore, the lighting is dim, you can see the numbers not partially read that right.
- Based on the functions the clock Intervalläufe is not suitable. No adjustment of individual intervals within a run possible only countdown function.
Funktionialität:
- In my opinion, the biggest shortcoming. While running partly strong pulse fluctuations (at my pulse liegts not, which is medically clarified), allowing targeted runs in certain frequency ranges with this clock are very difficult or even impossible. Often the pulse beats strongly from up or down and will take some time to back the correct frequency. Chest was stuck, not verutschte, contacts moistened etc., yet there is no improvement.
- Other feature is the custom setting of training:
- Input height, age, sex and weight to determine calories burned and automatic calculation of your maximum heart rate
- Defining the individual heart rate zone from: to
- While running acoustic signal when leaving the heart rate zone (so if you walk too fast or too slow)
Documentation of the runs:
- Since the heart rate monitor only provides basic functions that later evaluation and storage of the data is also rather minimal ausgestatet.
- Directly after the race shows the following values:
1. duration of the run
2. Max. Heart rate
3. Average heart rate
4. time it has been running within the preset frequency range in hh.mm.ss.
5. time it has been running within the preset frequency range in%
6. calorie consumption
Conclusion:
I have described the most important features for me above. Since I have only wanted a clock for pulse measurement and for specific frequency runs when buying, I nevertheless came price / performance, and quite a few functional ion sufficiently before. Unfortunately, the clock fails in the crucial moment, namely the reliable measurement of the pulse. The fluctuations distort not only the training results, but make targeted runs and precise intervals impossible.
I use the clock now only sporadically and will soon probably still need to define a new clock me, which is in a slightly higher price segment.
