Today there's no need to question liberty and free speech but in Louis Lowry's book It Seems to be different: People live in a community, leading a planned and organized life without memories of family, love or other essential human necessities of life. Happiness, colors, pain and music are foreign words for them but suddenly there's some hope to change the injustice. Jonas, a young boy Becomes The New "Receiver of Memory" and with all the positive and negative experiences he makes, his wish to make the community change and become one with "Elsewhere" grows more and more ... It's a very thrilling story wit ups and downs, really interesting to read but the ending could be better. We read this book in class (Grammar School) and I can only advise it to everybody.
