Preface: I am neither a photographer nor a renowned expert in this segment. In this respect, based on my review of a normal consumer with extensive experience (first digital camera 2003). I want to buy myself a simple digital camera in order to make good easy and relaxed holiday. These are to me later on the TV (I use a 75 inch = 195 cm flat screen TV) watching video / slideshow joy. I prefer to write positive reviews and that's probably the reason why not only I forgive two and one star. But more for these Cam unfortunately absolutely not in it! I had the camera now on holiday here and while I photographed with my Galaxy Note 4 (16 megapixels), my wife has used this camera here. But now times in detail: ___________________________________________________________________________________________________ 1. Menu: a very meager menu that, compared to other cheaper models, offers few settings. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________ 2. The actual useable pixels: The 16 million is only available in size 4608x3456, so in a 4: 3 format. In times of 16: 9 screens and the TV mE is completely useless. The 16: 9 setting (4608x2592) then just stop only 12 million pixels. Referencing actually sufficient, but with 16 million, I think in this case for deceptively. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________ 3. The recommended Selfie App of WMU: The positive first - it is easy to install (just like any app) and connects very quickly with the camera once you have there and hold the WiFi button once. The connection is on hold and the triggering is still working up to 15 m. But the further one moves away from the camera, the worse of course is also the connection. The final automatic transfer to the phone (only then you can make more photos) then takes a long time. The icon is also in intermittent WiFi connection on your display (top left as the active app) and a constant presence in the notification area. I have not gotten used to it even after 4 weeks and delete my app equal. The Selfies will not be saved in a folder or "camera", but each session, a new folder in "Pictures" will be created. This is also annoying for someone who likes order on his mobile has. The setting options in this app are unfortunately also poor and the compatibility / plausibility with the Nikon hooked in some places. And did you really ever photos where you get the smartphone (trigger) in your hand ?! ___________________________________________________________________________________________________ 4. Something Positive: The front trigger, the flexible display and the fold-out stand! If you want to take pictures on edge (see photo 1) the handling is absolutely great. To stand secure, even on uneven surfaces, such as rocks, the stand and the fold-out display are very helpful. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________ 5. The most important and worst for last - THE PHOTOS: My Opinion: If you want to take pictures with manual settings attacks but rather to high-quality SLR. With such a camera, as here, I assume that the settings are adjusted in the "Auto mode" that I do not have to constantly re-adjust manually, which indeed is hardly possible at Selfies also. Photos: The Selfies (photographed in light direction) are ALL vieeeeeel too dark and not at all correspond with the actual lighting conditions. The "normal" photos are acceptable, but too dark and much worse than the shots that we could do with our Samsung PL210 in the last 2.5 years. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________ 6. My conclusion / rating: to 1.) With a meager menu / few manual settings (0.5 star deduction) I could live, if because of the "Auto mode" would be optimal. But he is not absolute! to 2.) With 12 Megapixel I can live (longer just needs a poster maker or a detective). Here I would only because of the deception (no one needs still 4: 3) deduct half a star. to 3.) With the app I could even resign and for the positive front trigger (4) I'd pull off a balancing anything here to 5.) That's a No - particularly because it is advertised the Selfie function so precisely and so these extremely poor. That was my reason to choose me for this product and that is why I am also, in addition to many other shortcomings, so very disappointed.
In conclusion: There are also other deficiencies (GPS tagging, not editable photos.) On the I but did not address here, because the poor quality of the photos is sufficient even as a knockout criterion.
