Geox U DUBLIN B Mens Brogue Lace Up Brogues (Shoes)

Customer Review

... Upon closer inspection, however, disclose or wearing some shortcomings!

The shoe is too easy. I have a Dublin Geox (Brown, bought 2012). Visually, the two shoes do not differ, however, weighs 484 grams and my old Geox new only 302 grams.

At first glance, an advantage, because you could be the opinion, a lightweight shoe would be more comfortable to wear. However, this is wrong!

Weight when shoe is an essential quality feature! - Specifically, the weight reduction was achieved mainly by IMO another sole. The sole at the old shoe has a conventional 3-part structure. The sole of the shoe is made of a new "cast" and this is a disaster. The material is too soft, that is, the sole is squeezed together in the heel region at each step. The result is a felt springy step. Again, this may appear to be pleasant, but personally I see the strength of the material to be insufficient. By a certain softness-centered awareness of the step is generated, which in turn is followed by a slightly "shaky" step.

Summary: The shoe, however, is formally correct, the details in need of improvement. Nevertheless, probably better than most shoes on the market. - With new "old" sole technology a purchase, I will send him well ...

(Shoe incidentally falls by almost a half size too big!)
