Charger with pros and cons

The Powerline 5 of Ansmann is processed fairly compact and usual sense.
The Zero-Watt feature (complete shutdown when not in use / end of charging) works reliably. Batteries are very neat "fully" loaded. Unfortunately, there are a few small drawbacks that will become apparent only after the purchase.

- The unit smells quite strong for petrochemistry (lets hope soon after)
- Max. Load capacity for 9V unfortunately only 280mAh (this can be seen only in the manual and is nowhere else - is however available on the Ansmann homepage as PDF) / pity that you do not print on the package, for current types of other manufacturers could possibly . are insufficient or extremely prolong the charge
- The charging current is only 15mA at this model for 9V blocks, which according to long loading times means (in other Ansmann devices are there 60 or 70mA verfübar)
- The 9V shaft is only to be used when the 2 directly lying beside bays are not used simultaneously for round cells

With these facts, one should perhaps deal a little more open in the marketing and the relevant specifications are not in microscopic writing in beige pacts manual that reads a little, hiding. In an apparatus of the premium product line are the significant drawbacks. Therefore 3 stars.
For my needs, the device is (for the here offered price) in order not just top or "Premium" and associated with some restrictions at 9V. The max. However 280mAh match the currently best 9V batteries in its own home, although under Type "300" s are sold, but according to specification then but with min. 270mAh are given. In practice the batteries, however, are really very good.

The settlement and delivery was very good and very fast. Here everything was fine.
