In fact it is the evolution of WD20EARS. The interface changes, and this is what it brings:
- 3 platforms (while on the WD20EARS is either 3 or 4 depending on age, and 3 is better than 4 because it's denser data, making it a more efficient disk)
- Interface to 6Gb / s to 3Gb / s: it is better for all data that is cached, because if we always say that it is difficult to saturate the bandwidth, in fact when the cache is used it's not that difficult. It's always better to have 6Gb / s as 3Gb / s, but in practice it will not change much.
A priori, WD20EARS is no longer produced anyway, so live his successor, WD20EARX. :)
