The history of the Templars is thrilling! But what I liked most about this book is that all references about Leonardo and Durer. Being a fan of artists of that time, I have learned many things through this book. The author brings a lot of historical references, both on art, religion or hispanic of the East & France. It's a real treat to read a book and to intruire same time. To speak of the novel itself, the author tells the story of Damien Louvel, a young French exile in New York, who returns there to bury his father whom he has never really heard. What was to be settled in a few days when it extends learns that his father was about to discover a great secret about Jesus. Throughout the pages, one is caught in a system that we can not shirk. Damien learns that his father is not dead may be a simple accident, his house is on fire shortly after and sees simultaneously pursued by mysterious men in black. To get out of this mess, the only way is to continue his father's research ... Very very good novel to read!
