The 80s were the decade of Pop in general and the synth-pop in particular. Alphaville delivered from their debut album Groundbreaking, whereby in addition to the well-known singles especially "A Victory Of Love", "Summer in Berlin" and "Fallen Angel" are particularly relevant. A plate of a piece, a compulsory part in each 80-collection! The follow-up album was the standard hold still, unfortunately crashed the band from then and alienated many fans with daring style Jump. A live concert I witnessed the mid-90s, offered only a picture of misery, hence this board a loving Storage beautiful and less beautiful (what a drama when my parents accidentally the cassette with the chore out of the GDR -Radio recorded songs deleted!) childhood memories. Therefore, "Forever Young" was also one of the first CDs I bought after the monetary union.
As international therefore came Alphaville is perhaps even deduced from the fact that I utter astonishment caused by my American friends who knew the hits of their youth, when I told them the origin of the band. No one would have suspected a German band in Alphaville.
