I have tried to transmit over a distance of about 7 m (distance) / approx power cable length 18m a HD movie from a network drive (NAS) for "ReelBox" (Satreceiver). This is only possible with continuous audio and video. SD movies run smoothly. The data transfer rate was thus initially at 1.6 Mbit / s about 196 Kb / s. By transpose the devices in other outlets located in the room, so I was the data rate up to 3.9 Mbit / s to increase about 480 Kb / s. The most effective the reconnection of the phase was in the fuse box so that each has the same phase is used. By that I now could therefore 21 Mbit / s reach 2.5 Mb / s, so at least 13 times faster! For the transfer to the ReelBox it still is not enough unfortunately. In InfoTool of devolo me now following data rates are displayed: Downstream: 80 Mbit upstream: 30 Mbit. I think I would probably (not InfoTool) need at least a rate of 35 Mbit. Installation and use is easy and worked right away without a computer. For me, but unfortunately useless since no HD via dLAN - transfer is possible under my conditions. For Internet and DSL 16000 but not a problem. Therefore, by me only 2 stars.
