A small drawback of this device is that the fat injected from the inside against the lid and sits between the sealing ring and lid. For intensive cleaning of this rubber must then be removed, which in the previous model that caused never afterwards to assemble properly again it was because it was kind of "worn out".
You can clean all removable parts in the dishwasher, but not what I would recommend, as it makes the Teflon-coated pan fat somehow dull. Generally it is a cleaning with a little detergent, a soft sponge and water is sufficient.
The disadvantage to its predecessor is the shorter power cables.
But since I'm using the device otherwise fully satisfied, I paid a cheap price on Amazon and Amazon has always delivered as quickly, I forgive perfect score.
