The last radio was purchased prior to about 20 years in our home: a ghetto blaster, big, powerful with CD player and Doppelkasettendeck, for children up. Since then, new tools and techniques of sound recording and transmission feeder found, DVD players and PC / laptops play MP3 CDs and USB stick, from the steam was Radio DAB and any electronic things want to share their content via Bluetooth and make it audible. All these wonderful equipment we have also stand at home. What was missing was a compact box which - portable (battery mode!) - The combination of everything. A music machine while camping, at the party at the cottage, and god knows what where, playing the CD from Aunt Olga, the stick from Uncle Heribert, the latest Youtube songs from your phone's granddaughter in the garden, and, should this regard be nothing at present, also delighted with a clean radio sound.
And now enter once all these parameters as desired preset at Amazon Google: CD, MP3, USB, Bluetooth, DAB, FM and Batteriebtrieb (it only thing missing is the remote control) and what comes next: a single device = up our Sony Zetess Kastl.
Knowing that I am asking a lot, I was willing to spend up to 200. Only around 200 gabs because nothing, not even to 300 or 400 (please do not forget: I was not a complete system, mini system etc but only a Boombox Type with battery operation) I wanted a bit of design content, our Sony is - by design - conceptual stuck in the 90s. Check out against the modern equipment of Sangean, Technisat or the beautiful Retros of Philipps, Lenco and the rest of them, to. But: no battery operation, there is the USB connection only to charge devices because (not playing), there is no CD player is on board who does not have a (sustainable) Bluetooth on board, the other not or only DAB tuner. We see ourselves properly: all are specialists and are good at what they do. Our Sony is a generalist who can stop here and there, the subtleties that make up the price miss. Hence the compelling call to Sony: You go one step further and construct a Mercedes-variant of this radio, with just stuff like Shuffle Play, recordings on USB stick and the radio, antenna socket, easier handling / programming, etc, and the whole in a the 2015 corresponding design. They exist, people like me, who give you a few more euros would pay for it. Until then, love Sony people, thank you for the 70 Zetess.
