This CD is the best recording of this musical! Since everything is just right: Band (with 22 members, the largest Aida orchestra!), The ensemble and the main characters! Heather Headley is singing from her my personal favorite Aida! She has a strong, powerful voice, which also calls for the role of Aida! Adam Pascal is a super Radames with a horny rock voice! Sherie Rene Scott (Amneris) sings times rock, sometimes sad and you realize that she's going through a development: the vain, spoiled silly, self-confident ruler!
Only John Hickok (Zoser) has vocally no special aura, his voice is too quiet! Kristian Vetter (Zoser from Essen), with its rocking touch is much better! Too bad that the great overture was not included! The two minutes would probably fit on the CD! But otherwise: Buy, buy, buy!
