This CD I hear now determined for the tenth time and it will certainly not be the last time have been! Why? Youn Sun Nah! You can sing (technically simple very good); coupled with the excellent recording, I would almost say perfect, better not go. She has a great voice and is emotionally hard to stop: at some points it explodes almost, but this then does not come out muffled growls to the fore, but art and a touch of eroticism. Just great this woman! The eleven tracks span a wide berth, which goes far beyond the usual jazz repertoire. Only the acoustic version "Enter Sandman" by Metallica is (but perhaps also an indication in which disco woman Youn happy celebrated times) already unusual. There are also some original pieces and other covers, all of which have their own character. Each piece is really strong (The fast times taken out of the closet Matallica CD - demonstrates so clearly and so well Metallica might not even ... At the end of the plate closes because even with such a big piece like "La Chanson d'Hélène" because I just can not, as a re-start from scratch: just GROSS. But this praise must also be passed on, especially to Ulf Wakenius, the - mainly on the acoustic - makes great guitar. But this is then the only downer: His technical / dynamic perfection in honor: The additional emotional level of wife Youn he does not always reach - maybe that's also a good thing: They must show instrumetiert efficient at what heights she is capable.
Conclusion: For me a CD as the "island of music" is at the top.
