- No smell
- Good Marterialeindruck leather (at least once on the iPad drawn)
- Excellent fit, even if the functional elements: ie the pushbuttons are in the right place and not just cut but mapped and incorporated and Pressing works amazingly well
- The magnetic closure keeps very tight (and of course, the cover, the unit switches on and off reliably)
Negatives:
- Little choice meaningful color variants; not white or at least light gray; only light color: pink. Sigh.
- Also in accordance with the quality pretty high price
Alleged problem:
The lid is in three parts segmented (not four-part), it serves as a stand. To this end (based on the original of the previous model iPad Cases Air 1) is a lot of negative to read: there is described that the vertical pitching had a fragile and fiddly affair, the iPad cant accordingly with every breath of wind around etc .. If necessary, there has been a product improvement or the iPad Air 2 is better balanced. Anyway: It keeps stable.
Real problem:
It seems that Apple Case the product engineers in China informed the judge extent - with the exception of depth.
As is known, the second generation iPad has shrunk 1.4mm in thickness. And an estimated 1.4mm stands out the edge of the case on the tablet surface. In stark contrast, so (as in my case) white-silver iPad Air 2 in black case, this is clearly visible (perhaps it is less noticeable in black iPad in black sheath). Also, dirt / dust in the gap is likely to accumulate because of the edge does not terminate flush here, and logically, the product advantage of a streamlined tablet is completely playful.
When a product price of 30 or 40 EUR one could easily overlook this trifle yet, but here no longer. It remains incomprehensible that you so recklessly determined an otherwise perfect product to mediocrity.
3 or 4 points? Well, scarce. 4
