I for one have to get exactly what I expected: a splitter with fitting power unit.
I use the splitter to bring to a DVI signal to HDMI Splitter, to transfer it from there to monitor and television. This works even at the same time - I had, similar to USB splitter, actually expected to go on only one device at a time.
Transferring a 1920x1080 signal, and the problems and without interference. Catchment alone, the transmission seems to indulge what - but here I do not necessarily give the device the blame. The signal from the splitter to the monitor seems not really to be slower than a direct connection, the TV, however, everything comes with a slight delay to. This could, however, be as good input lag from the TV. You notice it because the mouse, especially, "gently behind slides" during fast movements. For quick games with mouse and keyboard, of course, more of a No Go.
I, for one game, for example Sleeping Dogs with Xbox controller on the TV and I must say here that this works without any problems - I think generally that games with gamepad will tend to work well better than Mouse / Keyboard on games (unless of course it is a game like Civilization).
A star loses the splitter, because if a cable is unplugged, it briefly cuts the connection on both sockets. This leads to the monitor for example, to the fact that this is not detected for 1 second and the desktop expansion including icons is then thrown seeehr ugly on the first monitor. This is in my case now not dramatic, but had me but a little bit annoyed.
I personally frag says otherwise too much and I'd always buy him back.
